Even after the flops like Acharya and Godfather, Chiranjeevi‘s Waltair Veerayya has gotten an absolutely perfect kickstart. The film’s first weekend at the box office has been huge. The movie, as per reports, managed to cross the Rs 50 crore mark in just two days and is now a step closer to the Rs.75 crore mark.
Reportedly, The film has 60-75% packed houses now and is expected to bring in more surprising numbers in the coming days. Though the film’s Hindi version is said to have totally fallen with just 10 -20% occupancy, the Telugu version in the U.S.A. is compensating for that sad truth for fans.
Waltair Veerayya has opened on a super strong note in the USA and now the film hits one million in the US. This is the third Megastar film to have achieved this landmark and the first film of this year to achieve this. The breakeven of Waltair Veeraya in the USA is around the $2 million mark and the film needs to continue this momentum for the next 3 days to achieve breakeven.
