On the other hand, Kollywood is going to witness a unique box office clash. Ajith and Vijay will be heading for a box-office clash with their respective movies.
Vijay’s Varisu is going to release during Pongal 2023. Vamshi Paidipally is the director of the movie. Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead of the film. The makers confirmed that the film would release during Sankranthi.
On the other hand, Ajith’s Thunivu is gearing up for a grand release during Sankranthi 2023. H Vinoth is collaborating with the actor for the third time. The film is in the production stage currently and the makers are preparing the film to bring it to theatres during Sankranthi.
If both the films release on time, then, it will be a big box office clash in Kollywood, after many years. Thunivu is expected to hit the screens on January 12th and Varisu might arrive on either 11th or 12th of January, next year.
