Vijay Sethupathy, who started off in small roles and small films is growing in stature day after day. He is already starring in almost all the superstars’ films in the south. Now, it seems Bollywood too is ready for Vijay. He is cast as the antagonist in Shah Rukh’s upcoming action film Jawan. Directed by the Tamil director Atlee, the film already has Tamil lady superstar Nayantara as the female lead. Currently, they say that the adjustment of dates for the film is being discussed and soon might fix the schedules. Sethupathy has happily agreed to work in the movie, said the sources. There are speculations that he might star in Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 too. There is scope for another antagonist in the Pushpa sequel and director Sukumar is said to be looking at Vijay Sethupathy as the best option.
Jawan is written and directed by Atlee. The movie team says that the plot is about a retired Jawan who goes on a revenge spree for the atrocities done to his family. The flick will be simultaneously released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages as a pan-Indian film. It’s noteworthy that along with Nayan and Sethupathy, many Tamil technicians and actors are part of this movie. Tamil comedian Yogi Babu is essaying a key role in Jawaan while the music is provided by Anirudh Ravichander. The release date is announced as June 2nd of next year.
