Vidya Balan’s Neeyat will soon hit the theatres and during a promotional interview, she opens up about her body image and life during an interview recently.
When issues about Mental health, Generations, and social media were addressed Vidya Balan expressed her opinion on the situation.
“I think Social Media has brought about that much more awareness and mental health, it was not like there were no mental health issues, not that there was no stress. I think every generation has faced stress in their own way but now that we are talking about it too much, people are putting it out there, people are saying that they are going through depression because there is so much conversation around it, it is being magnified. I personally feel it’s not true, we all faced it, it’s unfair to compare the struggles of two generations, we have evolved technologically, and somewhere the previous generation feels you are losing emotional connection. I am not sure it is absolutely true.” Stated the actress.
Neeyat will hit the theatres on July 7th, 2023.
