‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’ is a science fiction film that was announced in 2021, and directed by Aditya Dhar. He got famous with his film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ which stars Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautham. Adithya and Yamini even fell in love during the making of this film and they got married in 2021. The movie got huge collections.
After this hit, Adithya announced his second film with Vicky, ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’, it is a high-budget and much-awaited movie. The story is inspired by the character of Ashwatthama from the Indian epic Mahabharata. Earlier, it was told that Sara Ali Khan would be the lead actress but later she was also replaced. According to the reports, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be the lead heroine.
Now, according to sources, the latest news about the movie is that even Vicky is replaced by Ranveer Singh. It is because the Jio Studio doesn’t want Vicky to play this role. The reason behind this is not known accurately yet. It is a disappointment for all of Vicky’s fans as everyone expected to see him in a mythological role.
