Kollywood versatile hero Vikram is currently busy with movies in his pipeline. Recently, his character accolades for his role as Aditha Karikalan in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan. Without taking further delay the actor is moving on his next film tentatively referred to as Chiyaan 61.
PA Ranjith is the director of the film in which the story is set in pre-independence era and marginalised community in the Kolar Gold Field. The story is inspired from the miners who worked under British Rule in the Kolar Gold Fields.
The film is said to be a Pan India project which will be released in 3D too. The first schedule of the shoot likely to happen from 14 october on a grand scale. Gnanavel Raja is bankrolling the film under Green banner. GV Prakash Kumar scores music for the film.
On the other hand, Vikram’s Dhruva Natchathiram directed by Gautam Menon Vasudev will likely to release soon. This Vasudev’s directorial is a spy-thriller with an ensemble cast including Aishwarya Rajesh, Simran, Dhivyadarshini, Vinayakan, Arjun Das, Radikaa Sarathkumar and others.
