One of Kollywood’s highly anticipated movies, Maamannan has been making waves on the internet with its stellar cast, gripping posters, a great director, and music by AR Rahman.
On Friday, AR Rahman dropped the second single from the movie, Maamannan. Titled ‘Jigu Jigu Rail‘, the song delivers a perfect blend of energy and fun. The meaningful lyrics from the song were penned by Yugabharathi.
Additionally, a music video with lyrics has been released on the singer’s Youtube channel. In the video, Rahman is seen grooving to the song with a bunch of kids. The dance shown in the MV is choreographed by Sandy. The music video also gave short glimpses of Udhayanidhi Stalin and ‘Vaigai Puyal’ Vadivelu. The song follows the Reggae style.
Just like the first music video, Jigu Jigu Rail is also in black and white. The posters, and the music videos released for Maamannan are black and white. The first single, Raasa Kannu saw a collaboration between Vadivelu and Rahman. The song was released on 19 May and has been trending since then. Maamannan is a political thriller film written and directed by Mari Selvaraj and produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin. The film stars Udhayanidhi Stalin, Fahadh Faasil, Keerthy Suresh, and Vadivelu in lead roles.
