Speculations are rife that the female cast of Thalapathy 67 (tentative title), actor Vijay’s upcoming movie with director Lokesh Kanagraj includes names like Trisha and Priya Anand. Finally, today the movie team officially confirmed that Trisha is on board for the film. They released an official poster, the same as they did for Sanjay Dutt yesterday.
Recently a team packed from Chennai to Kashmir for a shooting schedule, and both these actresses, Trisha and Priya Anand, along with the lead actor and director, were spotted at the Chennai airport with this crew. So, it was confirmed long back, but the official posters are getting out now.
Recently, Lokesh confirmed that Thalapathy 67 would be a gangster film. However, he clarified whether it’d be part of the cinematic universe he’s building.
Thalapathy 67 is a production venture of 7 Screen Studio, filming of which has been going on since January 2, 2023. The project’s first official acknowledgment came last evening with a title design poster, and the technical crew was confirmed to be Anirudh for music, Manoj Paramahansa for cinematography, Lokesh Kanagaraj, Rathna Kumar, Deeraj Vaidy for dialogues, Anbariv for stunts, N. Sathees Kumar for art, Dinesh Master for choreography and Philomin Raj for edits.
