Karan Johar’s Good News was successful critically and commercially. The film was well-received by both young and family audiences since it handled a tough subject gently.
Karan has once again introduced a quirky comedy that serves as a spiritual sequel to the Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor films. The filmmaker resorted to his Instagram handle on Monday and revealed the first look posters of Bad Newz, which feature Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Amy Virk in crucial roles.
The film’s first poster reveals the film’s title, which hints at the story of parents’ fertility troubles. Triptii has never appeared opposite Vicky in a romantic comedy before. Amy made her debut in Ranveer Singh’s 83 and later appeared in Ajay Devgn’s Bhuj: The Pride of India. Bad Newzz is his first collaboration with Dharma Productions.
The much-anticipated comedy sequel, BadNewz is all set to hit theaters in July 2024.
