1. Adipurush – Netflix
Adipurush is a mythological action film based on the Hindu epic Ramayana directed by Om Raut. It was released on June 16, 2023, to negative reviews from critics, who criticized the film’s screenplay, dialogues, and visuals. The film was made with an estimated budget of Rs 700 crores, collected Rs 450 crores, and emerged as a box office bomb. The film is a big disappointment to Prabha’s film career. If we consider the other rights like audio and digital rights, the film earned break even.
2. Waltair Veerayya – Netflix
Waltair Veerayya is an action film directed by Bobby Kolli and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The film stars Chiranjeevi as the title character alongside Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan, and Catherine Tresa. The action film was made with an estimated budget of Rs 140 crores and collected more than Rs 225.7 crores.
3. Bhagavanth Kesari – Amazon Prime on November 23
Bhagavanth Kesari is an action drama film directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under the banner of Shine Screens. It stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in the titular role. The action film was made with an estimated budget of Rs 100 crores and collected more than Rs 130 crores.
4. Veera Simha Reddy- Disney+ Hotstar
Veera Simha Reddy is an action drama directed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. It stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in a dual role. The action film was made with an estimated budget of Rs 70 crores and collected more than Rs 134 crores.
5. Dasara – Netflix
Dasar is a period-action drama film directed by Srikanth Odela and produced by Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas. It stars Natural Star Nani, Keerthy Suresh, and Dheekshith Shetty in the lead roles. The action film was made with an estimated budget of Rs 65 crores and collected more than Rs 117 crores. The film received positive reviews from critics and emerged as a commercial success at the box office.
