A.R. Murugadoss is one of the best directors in the country and has made some of the biggest hits in his career. He is currently busy with promotions of his latest production is August 16, 1947, starring Gautam Karthik in a lead role. The film is directed by Sukumar’s assistant Ponkumar.
Sources speculated that Murugadoss and Allu Arjun was possibly collaborating on a project. On the occasion of the August 16, 1947 promotions, Sukumar was in Hyderabad and met the press. He spoke in detail about the film and also revealed his long-delayed film with Allu Arjun. Murugadoss said, “As directors, we meet many heroes. So, I met him long back and I narrated some ideas. However, at this moment I have some other plans. Perhaps I might work with him in the future.”
Speaking about his other projects, Murugadoss says that he has a deal fixed with NV Prasad and will very soon do a direct Telugu film. The script is ready but the hero is not yet locked, says the Ghajini director. Murugadoss last directed a film called Darbar in 2020 and is yet to announce his next.
