Mani Ratnam’s dream project Ponniyin Selvan, at last, hit the screens in 2 parts. On 28, April, the sequel was released worldwide. The growth of the audience is steadily increasing day by day and according to trade reports, the collection numbers on Day 2 are more massive than Day 1.
The unexpected result of PS 1, made everyone ignore the sequel as it clearly resembles the minting of money for the makers. As soon after day 1, the reviews are coming positive from all sides of the audience. This makes the graph a slight upish and the weekend also added to this to mark new high numbers.
Donned by Mani Ratnam, based on a book by Ponniyin Selvan. The second part is absolutely octane with its cinematic stuff and the visuals are simply stuck in mind. The way in which the love sequence between Karthi and Trisha Krishnan once again proved the director’s mettle.
The movie was produced by Lyca Productions and it has a star-studded cast including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chiyan Vikram, Karthi, Trisha Krishnan, Sobhitha, Aishwarya Lekshmi in lead roles. The music given by AR Rahman is simply awesome.
