“Thugs” is a pan-Indian action film directed by renowned choreographer turned-director Brinda Gopal. Releasing in Telugu as “Konaseema Thugs,” this noir-crime action film is presented by Riya Shibu, the daughter of top producer and distributor Shibu Thameens, under the HR Pictures banner in association with Jio Studios on a lavish scale. Hridhu Haroon, Shibu Thameen’s son, makes his Konaseema Thugs debut as Hero. The other ensemble cast involves Simha, RK Suresh, Munshkanth, and Anaswara Rajan in other key roles.
After the grand reception of the characters’ introduction video and trailer of the film from all corners, the film is surrounded by a huge buzz. The film, which runs against the backdrop of Konaseema, has been narrated by Director Brinda in an intriguing manner.
Hridhu Haroon as Seshu leaves an impression in a raw and rustic role with his debut film. The team has unveiled the first video song from the film. The song comes Asian a procession of Goddess Durga Mata in Kalika avatar. The song is mounted in an electric manner; the lyrics,
“Veera Soora Mahankali Vastondayyaa…
“Vetaadanu Aa Thalle Vastondayya…”
hints that the song will happen at a crucial juncture of the film. Hridhu’s dance moves are to the point where his body language resembles someone who is possessed by the goddess herself. Sam CS has given an electrifying performance, elevating the goddess’s anger. While lyricist Vanamaali wrote the lyrics, Amman is on her way to putting an end to evil. Oscar-nominated RRR movie Naatu Naatu song singer Kaalabhairava has lent the vocals, and his energetic voice has taken the song to another level. Priyesh Guruswamy’s different lighting for the song, which is shot entirely at night, has added a divine vibe to it. The inclusion of Director Brinda Gopal in the song gives a glimpse of how intense the “Konaseema Thugs” film is going to be. The song garners terrific responses from all corners for its energetic composition and choreography. It quickly became popular on the internet.
Konaseema Thugs is gearing up to release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada languages in February 2023 in a grand manner.
