In general, movies are released in a timeline order that will not clash with other movies, which affects collection numbers. Typically, average-tier heroes and others will release their films alongside others. When it comes to Biggie releases, however, the situation is quite the opposite.
Only for the festival are the biggest heroes’ films released and set to clash. But it’s not a holiday or a special occasion this time. This year, on August 11, 2023, we have three pan-Indian releases. The films are in three languages: Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.
The first on the list is Mahesh Babu’s movie with Trivikram. The film’s production, tentatively titled “SSMB 28,” began recently. The makers announced the release date as Aug. 11, 2023. Pooja Hegde will play the female lead in the film.
The next one is Tamil superstar Rajini’s Jailer. Helmed by Nelson Dileep Kumar, the film will also have its release on the same date, August 11. The film had a star-studded cast, including Mohanlal.
The last entry is Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, which will be out on August 11. The question is which movie will be on top, irrespective of its own language version. Rajinikanth had pure stamina all over India and also overseas. Mahesh had the same experience. In recent years, Bollywood films have received little attention, while Hindi audiences have embraced south Indian films. With Brahmastra, Ranbir Kapoor also managed to get some strength down south. Let’s see what happens on that date if the movie releases on August 11!
