Latto discovered that people were scrutinising her Coachella performance photos because many on social media thought she may have edited them to give the appearance of a larger audience. The image in question showed double representations of certain crowd members, implying that it had been manipulated.
The “Big Energy” rapper refuted such assertions on Instagram on Tuesday, April 18. She remarked on her since-deleted Instagram Stories, “Never photoshopped a crowd lmao,” I enlarged it to fit in my Instagram swipe without getting chopped off, but since it was obviously broken, I decided not to use it and instead accidentally sent the incorrect version to Twitter, girls.
Later she posted a tweet saying, “Haters will say it’s photoshopped :/,” to which fans replied by saying, “I was at Coachella and Latto’s team offered to pay a couple of us money so we can scream and become extra excited during her set. I declined tbh” and another user said, “they were clapping because you were exiting the stage.”
