Just yesterday, we were obsessing over the colourful goodness of Ira Trivedi and Madhu Mantena’s taboo romance wedding and today, we find out there were more than a handful celebrities that attended and bestowed blessings upon this newlywed couple on their special day.
Overviewing their love story again, Madhu Mantena was going through a divorce and some legal issues with his co-producer under the #MeToo movement when Ira and Madhu met through a common friend in Delhi and started seeing each other more often when Ira began inviting him to her book launches. Eventually, they got close. Of course, with some setbacks from both the sides, the decision was withheld. But in the end, we all know what happened. They got married!
Ira was seen wearing a simple pink saree with a thick golden waistbelt while Madhu was spotted in a white Kurta. This sophisticated look stole the show for every celebrity who was witnessing this moment come true.
To quickly give a list and short introduction about the guests, Aamir Khan – the Rancho from 3 idiots, Anil Kapoor – the ‘Dhak Dhak Karne Laga’ sensation, Jackie Shroff – the one to lead Khalnayak, Sara Ali Khan – lately famous for Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, Anupam Kher – the Sooryavansham superstar, Rakesh Roshan – Hrithik Roshan’s father, Madhu Bhandarkar – the maker of India Lockdown, Nitesh Tiwari – who directed the blockbuster Chhichhore, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari – the filmmaking talent behind Bareily Ki Barfi, and Sonali Kulkarni – from the recent Marathi blockbuster Jhimma, were spotted at the venue in their own style statements.
Hrithik Roshan and Saba Azad, Rakul Preet and Jacky Bhagnani, Allu Arjun, Sonakshi Sinha, Rajkumar Rao and Patralekha, Kartik Aaryan, Genelia D’Souza Deshmukh, Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda were some of the others as well.
