Pawan Kalyan is a cult star in Tollywood who gained immense love from his fans. Generally in the film industry, the survival of an actor is difficult with flop movies. But Pawan Kalyan even though out of his 27 movies fifteen movies didn’t perform well at the box office his craze among his fans only doubled rather than falling down.
Everyone in the industry knows that Pawan Kalyan and director Trivikram Srinivas had a good friendship between them from the movie Gokulamlo Seetha. Along with this film Pawan Kalyan had five back-to-back hits in his career. In 2003 Pawan Kalyan gave his directorial debut with his movie Johnny. But unfortunately, this movie failed to impress the audience. From 2003 to 2006 Pawan Kalyan’s career had back-to-back flops.
Meanwhile, in 2005 Trivikram tried to make a film with Pawan Kalyan which was later done by Mahesh Babu titled Athadu. In 2008 after three years Trivikram finally worked together with Pawan Kalyan for the project Jalsa. This action comedy movie revived Pawan Kalyan’s career and it’s a feast for Power star’s fans with Pawan’s attitude, comedy, and action. This hit combo again worked after five years and delivered an all-time industry hit in Pawan Kalyan’s career.
The fans started to call Trivikram Guruji after his hits in Pawan Kalyan and thought that Trivikram never disappoints Pawan Kalyan. Even though Attarintiki Daredi Pawan Kalyan worked with different directors and none of them performed well at the box office.
In 2018 Trivikram announced his movie with Pawan Kalyan and fans thought he’s gonna give another hit in Pawan Kalyan’s career and had all their hopes in Agnatavaasi 2018. But this movie is a huge disappointment for the fans. Power Star’s fans after watching Agnatavaasi started to troll Trivikram. The most famous troll that spread all over the internet for a longer period is “గురూజీ గురూజీ అంటే గట్టిగా గునపం దింపాడు” which translates as “ he stabbed us with a crowbar while we praised him as Guruji.”
