The three iconic songs from Barbie have been submitted for Oscar Awards.

The ‘Barbie’ soundtrack is wrapped in plastic. It’s fantastic enough for an Oscar! Warner Bros. has submitted three songs from the beloved movie, which includes “Dance The Night”, performed by Dua Lipa, and “What Was I Made For?” performed by Billie Eilish. It happens Billie Eilish will be the only singer to receive consecutive Oscar Nomination.

It is reported that Ryan Gosling’s “I’m Just Ken” had a high chance of winning the prestigious Oscar as the song is loved by many filmmakers. Ryan Gosling has previously been nominated twice for an Academy Award for his roles in Half Nelson (2006) and La La Land (2016).

The frontrunners are “I’m Just Ken,” “Dance the Night” and “What Was I Made For?” If the former two are submitted, producer-songwriters Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt — who both share an Oscar with Lady Gaga for “Shallow” from 2018’s A Star Is Born — would land the nominations since they worked on both songs. Along with Barbie songs, Wonka, The Little Mermaid, and other films have been nominated for Oscar Awards.

Warner Bros is aiming for multiple nominations for Barbie, hoping to get recognition in all categories, including ‘Best Original Screenplay’, ‘Best Picture’, Best Director, and ‘Best Actress’ for leading star Margot Robbie.
