In South-Asian countries, it’s considered nonconformity to bear a child without the status of a married couple. However, things have begun to change now with the growing Western influence across all the continents. Maybe not as rapidly, but people are gradually coming to accept the ‘you do you’ mindset that is the need of the hour in certain aspects like marriage, kids, and relationships, especially pregnancy.
As a matter of fact, pregnancy is an utterly personal choice, whether a female wants to keep a child in her womb and when. The person whose body is going to undergo the process is the only one who has a say in this decision. Ileana D’Cruz, a famous Bollywood actress seen in blockbuster movies like Barfi and Rustom also chose to become pregnant before marriage. A lot of keyboard warriors have been shaming and belittling her about it but on the other hand, there are people genuinely wishing her and her baby hale and hearty health.
All this while, there were rumors about Ileana and Katrina Kaif’s brother’s dating. However, today, we have first-hand information from the to-be mom herself. She posted a suspenseful photo, posing with her partner with a heartfelt caption, “And I don’t know what kind of mother I will be. I really don’t. All I do know is that I love this little human so darned much already I could explode. And for now – I think that’s enough. And on the days I forget to be kind to myself, this lovely man has been my rock. He’s held me when he feels me starting to crack. And wipes the tears away. And cracks goofy jokes to make me smile. Or just offers a hug when he knows that’s exactly what I need at that moment. And everything doesn’t seem so hard anymore.”
