The trailer of School of Lies is out on Disney plus’s Official YouTube Channel. Nimrat Kaur finds herself on a mission to unravel the mystery behind a missing child.
The trailer begins with Bashir’s character mentioning that a student named Shakti Salgaonkar has missed a lot of courses and hasn’t been seen by anyone at his school in a while. Everyone, including Shakti’s classmates, his seniors, the faculty at the school, and even his guardian, lies after lie, which deepens the enigma. As a school counselor, Nimrat Kaur can persuade the students to talk about what happened in relation to Shakti’s disappearance.
As the mother of the missing child, Geetika Vidya Ohlyan, who has previously played the powerful roles of Soni and Thappad, once again exudes confidence. Working on the School of Lies was an enlightening experience for Nimrat Kaur. “With the filming of School of Lies, I learned about the layered complexity of children and how they can reveal a new side to them every step of the way,” she said in a statement. The events that take place behind the locked doors of a fictional boarding school are mind-bogglingly unpredictable according to this unusual series, which was inspired by actual events.
