Netflix popular Spanish Sci-fi horror film “The platform” makers surprisingly announced its sequel on Netflix yesterday. Movie which disturbed many people with fictional horror centric characters have also received reviews of it being a spine chilling and one of the best horror films.
Plot line of the platform narrates the story set in a vertical prison system that residents dub “the pit”. It follows Goreng (Iván Massagué) as he tries to make sense of his new situation, where inmates are fed using a platform that moves downward through the prison, meaning those at the top are able to get the most food. Netflix took to twitter revealing new characters in same backdrop which viewers able to recognize from its prequel as a teaser hinting sequel started its shooting.

Even though Netflix has announced the sequel, it didn’t revealed any details regarding story line of the movie. Of course first part of the movie made watchers nauseous and dreadful yet everyone’s anticipating about the sequel’s plot line. what all audience know is that sequel is also directed by Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia. The new characters introduced in the poster revealed are Milena Smit and Hovik Keuchkerian. the role played by characters and the twists they bring to the movie are only known once the sequel is released. Expected release window of this most enthralling movie is unknown but fans are hoping to be streamed by the end of this year.
