Astonishingly Tamil Nadu government banned all the early morning shows in the state for actor Vijay’s anticipated Leo but in neighboring Kerala, every district has a fan show allowed at 4 a.m. and the tickets are being sold like hotcakes.
After Ethiran and Kabali, Leo witnessed a peak of hope in this film. Rampage bookings all around and unimaginable demand for the tickets. All the other theatres and multiplex chains will open the booking from today which is 16 October.
Overseas pre-sales indicate that the film will cross over 66 crores on its opening day including premieres. This will make the film 100 crores worldwide box office collection is a sureshot now.n Kerala, more than 2.6 lakh tickets were sold in the state alone creating a record for a pre-release collection of 5 crores and is still going strong.
With three more days to go, the first show in Tamil Nadu will begin at 9 am as in Karnataka and Kerala, fans are gearing up to watch the film at 4 am. Leo will be the first film to take a double-digit opening in Kerala on Day 1 and will shatter records in the Malayalam industry.
Leo starring Vijay Joseph and Trisha Krishnan as the main leads is helmed by Lokesh Kangaraj. Leo also boasts a star cast like Arjun Sarja, Sanjay Dutt, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan and Priya Anand in pivotal roles. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music for this film and is all set to be released theatrically on October 19.
