Baby earned over ₹7.50 crore at the domestic box office on the fourth day of its release amid a few controversies over Herione’s bold character. Helmed by Sai Rajesh, the film witnessed day four more fantastic than day 1. Due to positive word of mouth, Baby is likely to have a long theatrical run.
Starring Anand Devarakonda, Vyshnavi Chaitanya, and Viraj, the film bagged Rs 4.06 crore on its first day. It steadily performed on Saturday, with a collection of Rs 4.70 crore. But Sunday witnessed an excellent rise and collected Rs 6.03 crore. However, it’s Monday that decides the fate of any movie. Baby has thrown a big surprise by collecting around Rs 7.50 crore, more than it ordered in its last three days.
The controversial subject aside, the target audience of youth has appreciated the film, which has resulted in a suitable box office trend. This Baby has emerged as one of the best money spinners of small-budget cinema and is the second sleeper hit in the last three months after Samajavaragamana. Whether it does a lifetime similar to Samanjavary is something that the 2nd Friday will determine.
