The team of Dil Raju defeated their opponent team of Noted Producer C. Kalyan by neck-to-neck competition almost in all categories. Notable producers such as Y.V.S. Chowdary, T. Prasanna Kumar, C. Kalyan, K.L. Damodar Prasad, and Mohan Vadlapatla emerged victorious and secured positions in the executive committee. The Distributors’ Committee witnessed a close contest, with both C. Kalyan and Dil Raju’s panels securing six seats each. In the Studio Executive Committee, Dil Raju’s panel excelled, claiming three out of the four available seats.
Additionally, Dil Raju and Kalyan dominated the 16-member Exhibitors’ Executive Committee, each securing eight seats. The elections garnered significant participation, with 1,454 out of a total of 1,600 members casting their votes at the Film Chamber office in Film Nagar.
