Taylor Swift, the sensational American pop singer’s The Eras Tour Concert Film, breaks that record with $ 26 million in first-day ticket sales.
The 33-year-old singer knows about breaking records in “All Too Well.” The pop superstar added two more of them to her resume this week, as her upcoming Taylor Swift The Eras Tour concert film broke a record for single-day AMC advance ticket sales and became Fandango’s best first-day ticket seller of the year. Taylor single-handedly saved movie theatres.
According to AMC, Taylor Swift’s concert film will be available in theatres from October 13 to November 5. The film so far made @ 26 million in ticket sales in just one day, which breaks the previous record holder, Spiderman: No Way Home, which earned $ 16.9 million in a single day. The film also now ranks among Fandong’s best first-day ticket pre-sellers, among the likes of Avengers: Endgame, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and No Way Home.
Taylor posted a new video of the Eras Leg Of Tour on her Instagram, saying, “The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far. I’m overjoyed to tell you that it will soon be coming to the big screen. Starting October 13, you’ll be able to experience the concert film in theatres in North America! Tickets are on sale now. Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing encouraged.”
