Several of Taylor Swift’s fans, according to the magazine Insider, think she hinted at her breakup with Joe Alwyn at her concert in Arlington, Texas, on March 31. According to reports, the 33-year-old crooner substituted her heartache song “The 1” for the opening song in the “Folklore” segment, “Invisible String.” The latter song focuses light on lost love whereas the first song discusses two soulmates. It would have been wonderful if you had been the one, according to the song’s lyrics, “And if my wishes came true/ It would’ve been you/ In my defence, I have none/ For never leaving well enough alone/ But it would’ve been fun/ If you would’ve been the one.” According to a source close to another publication, the relationship had just reached its peak, which is why Alwyn was not seen in her shows.
