With back-to-back releases of films like Lust Stories 2, Jee Karda, and Jailer, Tamannaah Bhatia is in a promising career stage. However, this year, she also had a movie called Bholaa Shankar with Chiranjeevi in the lead that bombed. The Telugu star, which also starred Keerthy Suresh, was cast alongside Tamannaah. In a recent interview with India Today, Tamannaah responded that she has no influence over how viewers will respond to a movie when asked about the film’s underwhelming box office results.
According to Tamannaah, career highs like Kaavaala and lows like Bholaa Shankar are inevitable. If a movie bombs, she said, “I don’t think it’s a personal failure. It’s not. I’m still uncertain of the figures. I’m just assuming that what you’re stating is accurate. I don’t obsess about winning or losing. I keep performing my duties; that is what I can control. The rest… I have no control over how others will react.
Despite having Chiranjeevi in the lead role, Bholaa Shankar did not perform well at the box office, in contrast to the actress’ other movies this year. The movie is an authorised Telugu remake of Ajith’s popular movie Vedalam. It tells the tale of a brother who takes drastic steps to protect his adopted sister.
