SVP facing the week-day effect!

After a good opening and decent run of collections, Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vari Pata is getting troubled by the weekdays. There is a sudden drop in the collections of the movie from Monday, says the trade pundits. The film, which raked Rs 96 Crores in the first four days in Telugu states and Rs. 125 crores worldwide, is now collecting Rs. 5 Crores per day in Telugu states with very difficulty. The fifth-day share in Nizam was just Rs 82 Lakhs and the Andhra segment too has seen a drop of over 70 percent in the collections on Monday. Overall, SVP has earned Rs 102 Crores at the Telugu States box office. But till another biggie arrives, there is no threat to the collections of SVP as of now, says the trade sources.

Irrespective of collections or talk, the movie team is already on a success celebrating spree. As it is seen, the SVP makers arranged a success meet in Kurnool. Mahesh even thanked the fans for making his latest flick a huge hit. He danced along with the music director SS Thaman for mass number Ma.. Ma.. Mahesha. He revealed during the speech that his kids loved the movie and complimented him that his look in SVP is the best to date. Bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels, and GMB Entertainment, Sarkaru Vari Pata was directed by Parasuram Petla and has the tunes of SS Thaman.
