Nani is one of Mahesh Babu’s disaster films that his fans can never forget. Despite AR Rahman’s blockbuster album, the film scored the biggest flop at the box-office. Even Amisha Patel’s beauty and Mahesh’s craze can’t save the film at Ticket Counter.
However the film was released amidst high expectations as it was the film directed by SJ Suryah after the blockbuster Khusi starring Pawan Kalyan. Surprisingly, all the expectations went in vain after the film got released.
Now, after many years, director Suryah who is busy in promoting his web series “Vadhandhi” made some interesting comments on Nani.
SJ Suryah, who is now far from directing and is indulged in acting said, “I do feel bad all the time for not being able to give a hit film to Mahesh Babu. Back then after the film’s release, Mahesh praised me for the hard work I’d done for the film and said that he appreciates my work irrespective of the result. That revelation by Mahesh pained me more”.
” If any day I feel like quitting acting, then I will do a film with Mahesh first”, the director added.
