Suriya is one Star who entertains his fans irrespective of the results. He never backs away from experimenting. That’s what led to the release of various genres of films, to which his fans are incredibly proud of. From action masala entertainers like Singam to pure experiments like Jai Bheem, Suriya’s films may fail at the box office but never fail to disappoint fans or moviegoers. Suriya accepted a film with director Bala as part of his next experimental film. Fans were excited that this could be an exciting project. But it looks like their excitement is short-lived. That project is now shelved, says Kollywood sources.
After shooting a schedule for 34 days at Kanyakumari, Suriya’s production house, 2D Entertainment sources confirmed that the project is temporarily shelved. It could again take off if Bala changes the script as per Suriya’s requirements. Reportedly Suriya is not happy with how the script has panned out. There were rumors that both of them had a tiff while shooting, and the Star had stormed off from the set. The actor-director duo had earlier done two movies together, namely Nandha and Pithamagan. The latter was a surprise hit in Telugu as well. Meanwhile, Suriya will complete his project with his Singam direct Hari and have the Annaatthe fame Siva’s film in the pipeline.
