If the ongoing buzz is to be believed, Actor Suriya is likely to team up with Jai Bhim director TJ Gnanavel again. The director had revealed to a YouTube channel that he had narrated a one-liner about a film to Suriya during the shoot of Jai Bhim itself. Currently, the director is working on the pre-production formalities and the shoot is likely to begin in mid of 2023. However, there has been no official announcement about the same.

The plot of the movie is inspired by a real-life incident fought by Justice K Chandru in 1993. The cast includes Suriya, Lijimol Jose, Manikandan, Rajisha Vijayan, Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, Guru Somasundaram, Jayaprakash, MS Bhaskar, Ilavarasu and Kumaravel.
Recently, the film has been officially selected for screening in the Indian Panorama section at the International Film Festival in Goa, which will be held later this month. Jai Bhim had a direct release on Amazon Prime Video. The film is bankrolled by 2D Production.
