Ace director Sukumar’s style is quite different from all other Telugu film directors. In his debut film Arya, Sukumar narrated a new type of love story exactly opposite of the normal way. After getting his first hit with his debut film, Sukumar immediately directed the movie Jagadam. Though Sukumar’s Jagadam movie was not commercially successful at that time but influenced many aspiring filmmakers.
There are many people who wanted to become directors after watching the Jagadam. One among them is Srikanth Odela, who recently made a hit with the latest movie Dasara. Srikanth was inspired to become a director after he watched Jagadam. After four years, Srikanth got an opportunity to work with Sukumar on the film Nannaku Premato starring Jr NTR and Rakul Preeth Singh in lead roles. After that Srikanth also worked in the Rangasthalam movie.
During that time, Srikanth wrote the story of Dasara while working on Rangasthalam. Srikanth Odela has brilliantly screened the story of a town called Veerlapalli and gave the audience a never-before experience with the movie Dasara.
Celebrities started praising the Dasara movie. Tollywood heroes like Superstar Mahesh Babu and Prabhas have praised the Dasara movie on social media platforms.
But at a time when Sukumar had not given any reaction to this movie until recently, Sukumar expressed his opinion about the movie on his social media account, “After watching Dasara movie, my heart was filled with happiness and pride. The story of Veerlapalli, created by my beloved Srikanth Odela, took me into the world. I really liked Nani’s immersion in the role of Dharani. He always surprises me with his skill. Keerthy Suresh has made perfect justice for the role of Vennela. My congratulations to the whole Dasara film team” said, Sukumar.
