Acclaimed director Sudha Kongara, who bagged many awards and rewards with her film ‘Soorarai Pottru‘ is said to be met with an accident and got her hand fractured.
The director is currently shooting with Akshay Kumar for her Hindi film, which is the remake of her ‘Soorarai Pottru’. Starring Suriya, the film was released in Telugu as “Aakasame Nee Haddura”.
Now the director seems to have injured herself and suffered a fractured left hand. The director said she would be out of action for a month and would be on a break.
Sharing pictures of her bandaged hand, director Sudha Kongara took to her social media account and wrote, “Super painful. Super annoying! On a break for a month 😒 #NotTheKindOfBreakIWanted” (sic).
Meanwhile, celebrities including Music composer GV Prakash, who is composing music for the Hindi remake, wished for her speedy recovery.
Bankrolled by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment and Abundantia Entertainment, the Hindi version of the film went on floors in April last year. Radhika Madan will play the female lead, while Paresh Rawal will reprise his role in the Hindi version, too.
