Suriya’s lineup
Karthikeya 2 garnered a lot of accolades for the young director Chandoo Mondeti all over Pan India. After the film’s blockbuster, the director became busy with more based on true stories and is unveiling his possibilities towards filmmaking with his ventures on experimenting with scripts.
After Custody did not go well with the audience, Naga Chaitanya kept his hopes upon his upcoming film with Chandoo Mondeti for which the film pre-productions have already started. Simultaneously, Chandoo Mondeti also talked about his future projects in an interview.
When broached about his meetings with Tamil star Suriya, the director said, it’s always great talking to Suriya sir since he is quite encouraging and friendly. Every meeting with him has been quite enriching and been planning a film about four Vedas with Suriya sir. It would be a socio-fantasy kind of movie and we are both quite excited about it.
Suriya is busy with his upcoming film Kanguva seems t have a promising lineup of films and is also in talks with many interesting talents from different industries. Though Suriya is busy with his scheduled commitments, the director says he is constantly in touch and enquires about the development of the script.
On the work front, Director Chandoo Mondeti is to start his next project with Naga Chaitanya based on true events about a story of a fisherman while Suriya will be seen in Kanguva which will release in 2024, later will do a project with Sudha Kongara after Soorarai Pottru. The actor also has commitments with Vetri Maran and Lokesh Kanagaraj.
