Despite controversies, Vijay’s Varisu, being released as Varasudu in Telugu, is creating a decent buzz in Tollywood. Interesting is that directed by Tollywood director Vamshi Paidipally, the film has Telugu popular hero Srikanth in the film. Srikanth has appeared as an antagonist in Akhanda and scored a sensational hit recently.
Now, he is part of the film Varasudu and talking about the film he said, “This is the first time in my career to do a Tamil film. I played Vijay’s brother in this movie which is an out-and-out family entertainer. It will have feel-good emotions and the movie will be like a visual wonder. Rashmika Mandanna, Jayasudha, Kick Shyam, Sarathkumar, Sangeetha, Prabhu… all of them have done films in Telugu, so it is like a film with full Telugu nativity.”
Speaking about his role in the film, Srikanth said, “The movie contains the emotions that happen between brothers. Vamshi Paidipally’s movies have great emotions. I’m happy to be part of the movie and delighted to make my Tamil debut with a Vijay starrer.”
