Srikanth Odela: Then the Guru is now the disciple

Sukumar, there is no need for an introduction to this iconic director. With his debut film Arya, he delivered a smashing hit and it seemed like Tollywood found an excellent filmmaker in the industry. He proved that every story has got different dimensions, let it be a love story or any other genre Sukumar’s vision makes it seem impeccable. Sukumar made it possible for one to believe that a beautiful poem can be unleashed on the silver screen.

From Arya to Nannaku Prematho, he has never failed to impress the audience. Rangasthalam made the audience revisit the classic era. The film featured Ram Charan, Samantha, and Pooja Hegde and was a massive blockbuster. Chiitibabu played by Ram Charan was well-received by the audience and he was soon termed a great actor. Sukumar, who used to make classy movies, whooped the audience with this mass entertainer which was a blockbuster and also commercially hit. It was released on March 30, 2018 and took everyone’s attention.

While Rangastalam set a benchmark, Dasara redefined what setting up a benchmark is like. In this movie, Nani appeared in Never Before Avatar. Above all this, this movie is directed by a new director Srikanth Odela.

Srikanth worked as an assistant director when Ram Charan appeared in Rangastalam and made his mark as an excellent actor. Rangastalam portrayed Ram Charan in a Never before look and now Sukku’s disciple Srikanth has portrayed Nani in a Never Before Avatar. It is a coincidence that these films are released on the same date i.e, 30th and are redefining Indian cinema by making history.
