Spy premieres got cancelled; here’s why?

After Karthikeya, Nikhil bagged the pan-India craze. However, his next 18 pages haven’t been released across the nation. Hence his pan-India film after Karthikeya 2 is Spy. The film was released in the US today and is expected to have a good number of shows across the country. Unfortunately, many of them were cancelled, and the reason is said to be a content delay.

In the news, Spy premieres in many areas of the East Coast were cancelled, and audiences were given ticket refunds as well as rain checks. On some screens, the management screened the second half first and then cancelled the shows because of the glitch in retrieving the first half.

Reportedly, the film’s content was delayed on Monday, but DCPs were shipped on Tuesday, impacting the delivery of Wednesday’s premiere shows in the US. But the shows in the evening are scheduled as planned, and it has to be seen if the issue is resolved.

Billed as a thriller based on Subhas Chandra Bose’s death mystery, the film raised a lot of expectations with its teaser and trailer.
