Song Ji Hyo to be paid more than a million won by her ex-agency Uzu Rocks

Im Seong Cheon, popularly addressed by her stage name, Song Jo Hyo, has appeared in various good content films and television dramas. The actress’s contract with Uzu Rocks terminated on April 14th, and the agency was reported to have been subject to unpaid wages.

Upon filing a case in the Seoul Central District Court under Civil Settlement Division 45, the agency failed to act as ruled by the court, making Song win the case on November 28th. On December 13th, Uzu Rocks stated that they are working to meet the dues and pay back 984 billion won(approximately 6,27,43,174.14 INR). The agency and Song’s team are currently dealing with the compensation matters.

Uzu Rocks Park Joon Nam, the former CEO, is reported to have faced allegations of misuse of the company’s funds. The Intruder actress made her relationship with Baek Chang Joo, the CEO of her previous agency, C-JeS Entertainment, official but had to part ways later in July 2015; she later walked away from the agency after her contract terminated.

Song Ji Hyo last appeared in Shooting Stars starring Lee Sung Kyung and Kim Young Dae and was appreciated for her performance in the 2020 film Intruder for her role Yoo-jin. The actress is currently a permanent member of the South Korean Reality TV show Running Man and is filming for her next movie, Meeting House.
