Murugadoss joined hands with Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan for a bilingual, and the movie will be released in Telugu and Tamil, tentatively titled SK23. Sivakarthikeyan emerged as a star in Tamil with good movies, and his dubbed films garnered fans in Telugu also. The movie has Rukmini Vasanth of Sapta Sagaralu Daati fame as heroine.
It is a fast-paced action film set in Chennai with an interesting Script like Ghajini’s. As much as action, there will also be romance and a Unique element in the story. In addition to action training, Sivakarthikeyan is training for body language as his character in the film is not regular and requires a different body language.
“We needed someone who looks like a practical young woman. I saw Rukmini’s films and found her personality to be closer to the kind of character that I’d written. So we went with Rukmini instead of Mrunal”, said AR Murugudoss.
Director AR Muragadoss, who has been the brand ambassador for Tamil cinema in India, will also look to prove a point with SK23. The Ghajini director, who has had a string of underwhelming projects, the most recent one being Rajinikanth’s Darbar, will look to make a comeback with this film.
