Director SJ Surya’s film Kushi film which was released in 2000 completed 23 years on 19th May. The film stars Vijay Thalapthy and Jyothika in the lead roles which was a romantic comedy film. The film received a huge response from the audience. It has also been remade in Telugu and Hindi languages.
In Telugu, the film was titled the same as the Tamil ones, and Pawan Kalyan and Bhumika played the prominent roles and the movie became a super hit film in Tollywood too. As fans celebrated the completion of 23 years for this blockbuster film, director SJ Surya has expressed his happiness and wrote, ‘Yesterday all our brothers and sisters and friends celebrated the 23 years of KUSHI 🙏🙏🙏🙏 I am overwhelmed & will create new records with all Ur support 💐💐💐💐💐💐💐thank you all🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏’.
Speaking about the work front, SJ Surya will be seen playing a prominent role in Ram Charan’s Game Changer. He is also set to appear in Jigarthanda Double X alongside Raghava Lawrence.
