Gully Boy actor Siddhant Chaturvedi shared how his difference of opinion on an old interview proved to be an ice breaker. The actors have worked together in Gehraiyaan and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan.
During a recent conversation, Ananya and Sid discussed their four-year-old interview with Rajeev Masand, in which they discussed the struggles of insiders and outsiders. Gully Boy actor shared his thoughts on the matter, saying it was an icebreaker for them. “It never really affected our friendship because we did Gehraiyaan right after that,” he added. We did Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, and those who saw the trailer thought, achcha actor hoon, but itna bhi nahi ki fake karu (I am not that good an actor that I can fake the friendship)!”
Furthermore, the Dream Girl 2 actress revealed that even though it fell into a glacier on the first day of their friendship, it had no negative impact on it. to which Ananya said “With Sid, I can just call him and tell him how I feel, and I have done that all the time,” she continued. If I felt something wasn’t right, either personally or professionally, or he felt something wasn’t right, we always told each other, and that’s how we’ve kept it.”
Ananya went on to say that it’s a good way to be with anyone. “If I’m not comfortable with something, I’ll tell someone.” I’m not going to keep my emotions hidden. I’m a crier. It’ll be obvious on my face in a split second. So I’d rather just let it out, which may be why we’re friends today,” she concluded.
