Shriya Saran’s next movie is to be released on… Deets inside

Music School is an upcoming Indian musical film made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages priorly. This Movie stars Shriya Saran as the female lead, Prakash Raj playing a key role along with Bollywood actor ‘Three Idiots’ fame Sharman Joshi, Gracy Goswami, and Ozu Burua.

The movie is about how academics strain students with new curriculums and parents stress them by thinking only about studies. Movie shooting started in 2021 November and hit theatres this summer as the director wished the whole family as an audience to watch the film during the holidays. Director’s connection with Assam by being former commissioner of Assam not only in the film but ‘Ozu Burua’ an Assamese actor is debuting in the film showing the intercultural connections between the states.

Making it the first musical film in India, the film has twelve songs with 9 of them composed by Ilayaraja. Three songs from ‘The Sound of Music’ will now appear for the first time ever in Indian cinema history. The three songs from the Hollywood musical drama, starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer and based on the real-life story of the von Trapp family, are “Do-Re-Mi,” “So Long Farewell,” and “Sixteen Going on Seventeen.” As per the latest updates, this movie will be pre-released on Saturday in Daspalla Hotel, jubilee hills, Hyderabad graced by Telangana IT minister ‘KTR’ in the presence of Maestro Ilayaraja and producer Dil Raju.

This movie is directed by a former IAS officer turned-director and also produced by Biyyala Papa Rao and music composed by music Maestro ‘Ilayaraja’ which is going to be released on the 12th of May.
