Blackpink is a South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment, consisting of members Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa.
The group debuted in August 2016 with their single album Square One, which featured “Whistle” and “Boombayah.” The group is referred to as the “biggest girl group in the world”, Blackpink is the most successful Korean girl group internationally.
They were the first girl group to top the Billboard Artists 100 and the first Korean girl group to enter and top the Billboard Emerging Artists chart.[3] Blackpink also became the first female Korean act to receive a certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) with their single “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du.”
Born Pink was the first album by a girl group to reach number one on the Billboard 200 since Danity Kane in 2008.
Recently, Korean Air posted pictures of the inside of the private plane used by BLACKPINK on their official Instagram account on June 1. In March, Korean Air became the BlackPink tour’s official sponsor. Yellow bags and dolls with the names of BLACKPINK members were displayed on each seat. Each doll depicts the characteristics of its members.
Reportedly, Blackpink’s private plane costs around 28.13 million Won per hour so if Korean Air isn’t sponsoring the tour, it will cost around 700 Million Won if they used it for 30 hours.
The fans are shocked to know the cost of BlackPink’s private plane.
