Director Shankar is known for his huge budget films. The budget and the time he takes for the completion are also long. He generally shoots a movie for at least 2 or 3 years. Add the time required for the post-production works like VFX; his film gets delayed much more. But, as far as the Ramcharan movie is concerned, sources say he is shooting rather rapidly. He is rolling the schedules as soon as possible, it’s said.
There must be a few reasons behind his unusual rapid work. One being the pending movie Bharateeyudu 2, which was left amidst because of a series of mishaps that happened while shooting the film. On the other hand, Bollywood star Ranveer Singh is waiting for Shankar for the remake of Aparichitudu. There are concerns from the fans of Mega Power Star that the film might turn up to be a dud at the box office because of Shankar’s hurry. They are demanding that Shankar treat the RC movie just like other movies Shankar had done or is going to do. After the debacle of Acharya, they say they want a solid hit from Cherry. Tentatively titled RC15, the movie is bankrolled by Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations and has a star cast like Kiara Advani, Anjali, Srikanth, and Sunil in key roles. SS Thaman is providing the tunes to this Rs 170 crores estimated project.
