Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, has received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) after some cuts were made to the film. According to the certificate, the film’s duration is 2 hours and 26 minutes.
It is unclear whether the saffron bikini worn by Deepika in the song “Besharam Rang,” which sparked controversy and numerous complaints, was requested to be removed. However, the team worked multiple times on the final cut.
As the release date for Pathaan approaches, many are waiting for the reaction of Shah Rukh and Deepika regarding the controversy. The film marks the comeback of Shah Rukh Khan into mainstream cinema after Zero.
On the promotions front, two songs from the movie have been released so far, and both have gained popularity among fans who also appreciate the on-screen chemistry of the lead actors. The film will hit the screens on the 25th of January, 2023.
