It is all known that Tollywood’s star actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is essaying the role of queen Shakuntala in Gunasekhar’s periodic love tale Shaakuntalam movie.
The trailer released a few days back caught everyone’s attention. Dev Mohan will be seen as King Dushyant and Allu Arjun’s little angel Arha is essaying the role of prince Bharata in this movie.
Although the movie was scheduled to release last November, the makers postponed it. Recently, they dropped a new release date poster and said the film would release on Feb17 th. However, the latest buzz is that film is not going to be released even on that date.
As the film is aiming for a Pan-India release, it is heard that the movie hasn’t got enough theaters for the Hindi version due to Pathaan. So, it is said that the film is postponed from Feb 17 and a new date is awaited. However, the official announcement of the same is not out.
Speaking about the Shaakuntalam movie, Samantha is essaying the titular role, and Dev Mohan will be seen as King Dushyant. Dialogue King Mohan Babu will essay on the role of Durvasa Maharshi.
