Jai Bhim was recently screened at the 53rd International Film Festival of India, in Goa. It was part of the 25 feature films selected in the Indian Panorama. During the interaction with the media and delegates at one of the Table Talks sessions organized by the Press Information Bureau (PIB), the film’s co-producer Rajsekar Pandian revealed that a sequel for the film is being planned and confirmed that it will happen for sure.
As of now, there is no official statement from the actor because he is already having a set of movies in his pipeline and he is also the part of Lokesh Cinematic Universe.
Jai Bhim was directed by TJ Gnanavel and is bankrolled by Jyothika and Suriya under his production house 2D entertainments.
The film stars Suriya, Lijomol Jose and Manikandan, with Rajisha Vijayan, Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh and others in supporting roles.
The film revolves around the subject of police bias and state violence against a marginalised community. Based on a true incident in 1993, which involves a case fought by Justice K. Chandru.
The sequel is in action of planning, there are no such reports to claim this news but we can expect it soon from the makers once the actor greenlit the project.
