Sensational! BLACKPINK surpasses this Indian artist

Blackpink is a South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment. The group consists of four members namely, Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa. They debuted in August 2016 with their single album Square One, which featured “Whistle” and “Boombayah.”

They are known as the “biggest girl group in the world.” Blackpink is the most successful Korean girl group internationally.

They are the highest-charting female Korean act on the US Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 13 with “Ice Cream”, and on the Billboard 200, peaking at number one with their second studio album Born Pink.

Recently, BLACKPINK obtained 41.33 million followers on Spotify. They surpassed Indian artist Neha Kakkar and became the most-followed Asian artist on Spotify.

Shreya Ghoshal and TWICE rank next to Neha Kakkar on Spotify along with other popular international artists like Selena Gomez, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Adele, and Rihanna.
