Internationally renowned singer and American actor Selena Gomez once expressed her concerns about the impact of social media on young people. The actress talked about how social media can influence and destroy someone at a press conference for The Dead Don’t Die.
The Who Says singer voiced about the power of social media as a platform but also the negative consequences on young girls and boys and it’s impossible to make it safe at this point as the young people have already been exposed to social media.
The pop star dated Justin Bieber on and off from 2010 to 2018 after which the Sorry singer dated Hailey Baldwin briefly and married her the same year. The Ice Cream singer recently released a track ‘Single Soon’.
Single Soon is a peppy dance anthem that celebrates being single. Talking about the song, Selena says she wrote it long ago but didn’t want to release it earlier as it can be interpreted in so many different ways.
The actress revealed that the song was written when she wasn’t single six years ago. She further says she is happy in the place she’s in right now and hasn’t been in a relationship for five years and in a place where whatever comes in the way will only add to life or pass but doesn’t take anything away.
