Saudi Vellakka, Won the Best Film at NewYork Indian Film Festival!

Saudi Vellakka, directed by Tarun Murthy, was a film that received good reviews across Kerala. The critically acclaimed film is making Mollywood proud. Saudi Vellakka was adjudged the best film at the New York Indian Film Festival held from May 11 to 15. Saudi Vellakka is the only film from Malayalam among the 20 films selected for the competition category from Indian films.

Saudi Vellakka won applause by presenting the thousands of cases pending in the country’s courts and the lives that end after them. After garnering critical acclaim and critical acclaim at several festivals including the Indian Panorama in Goa, the film is flying the Indian Film Festival in New York. The film was also considered for the ICFT UNESCO Gandhi Medal Award at Indian Panorama.

The New York Indian Film Festival was started from May 11 to 14 with the aim of bringing Indian films to the international level. The cinematography of Saudi Vellaka starring Devi Verma, Lukman Awaran, Binu Pappu, Gokulan and others is done by Saran Velayudhan, editing by Nishad Yusuf and music by Pali Francis. Saudi Vellakka won as the best film in New York Indian Film Festival.
